Well, the time has come for me to write my first post. I know you have been waiting with baited breath! You need to know a bit about me, my family and my life. This post will answer a few of those.
I have the perfect husband, something he will never say about me. I am jack of all trades and master of none. We have 3 children, one girl and two boys.
I have 5 siblings. My father was an engineer, so it makes sense that my parents would have 3 boys and 3 girls. My position in life was to be a middle child, with all that that entails. An example might be that I got to take dance and go to overnight camp! My sister says that is because I was a “problem” child.
My three older siblings went to college and majored in business, english and teaching, respectively. When it was my turn, I became a geologist. Seemed to make sense at the time. Most of the good majors were taken! So day in and day out, I go to work and use the term frac’ing. On a good day, I might say frac’ing 10 times! None of my siblings go to work and say frac’ing, so maybe this geology thing worked out for the best.
This blog will be a “lifestyle” blog. It could have been a fashion blog, but that would never work. My two older sisters have great fashion sense and the gene pool didn’t stretch any further than them. I was left with little choice in my fashion style. You can imagine that I had two choices left, Dirt Hippie or Earth Mother! One day you will see that Earth Mother was the one I chose.
Well, that is it for the first post. Please come back.

Y’all were adorable children!
Thank you Emily.
You look adorable. I must have recently had a “Tonette” perm — my hair has never been that high since. 😉
The big sis
Well, you were tall in that picture!
Love the picture. James was crooked then and I’m crooked now. About ready to go back and see what progress has been made on the house. I think that is the window we used to ‘break’ into the house.
